Legendary Singer Nayyara Noor Died at 71

 Pakistan’s legendary singer Nayyara Noor passed away. She suffered from prolonged illness and died at the age of 71.

Nayyara Noor was one of the most popular film song playback singers of the Indian subcontinent and a stage performer. She used to perform ghazal concerts on Pakistani television programs or live in the country’s music halls. She was also honored with the Nigar Award in 1973.

Nayyara Noor was born on 3 November 1950 in Guwahati, Assam, Northeast India, Where she grew up. His family and ancestors were traders who migrated from Amritsar, Punjab and settled in Assam. Noor migrated from India to Pakistan with her mother and brothers in 1957 and settled in Karachi.

Nayyara noor was also the wife of well-known television actor Shahryar Zaidi. Noor was popularly known as Bulbul-e-Pakistan because of her soulful and sweet voice. His song “Jale to Jalao Gori” became very popular. Not only this, Nayyara Noor has received many awards for her services for promotion of music and culture.

Nayyara’s Nephew took the news of his death on the twitter. Nayyara Noor’s nephew Raza Zaidi Wrote, “It is with heavy heart that I announced the passing of my beloved aunt (Tayi) Nayyara Noor. May her soul R.I.P. she was given the title of ‘Bulbul-e-Pakistan’ because of her melodious voice”.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz sharif also expressed deep sorrow over the death of Nayyara Noor.

The Prime Minister said that her death in an irreparable loss to world music. The late singer was Known for her melodious voice and emotions, adding that whatever she sang be it ghazals or songs. They are remarkable.

The Prime Minister said that her death has created a void that will not be filled. He also prayed for the high status of the deceased.

Fans were also saddened by her death and expressed deep sorrow and disappointment over the death of the legendary singer and said that her death is a great loss for music industry of Pakistan. Our condolences to her family including her husband Shehryar Zaidi and her sons Naad e Ali & Jaffer Zaidi. May she rest in peace! Ameen!
