As Taliban militants continue to capture more Afghan provinces, US Intelligence agencies predict that it won't take Taliban more than 90 days to capture the national capital, Kabul KABUL, AFGHANISTAN - On Wednesday 11th August, a US Defense Official gave out a statement regarding the Afghan Taliban situation to the British wire service. The defense official said that Taliban fighters could isolate Afghanistan's capital in 30 days. They could possibly take it over in 90 days thus ending the Ghani government. US envoy sent to Doha for talks over Taliban

As Taliban continue to capture more Afghan cities. US get in talks with other countries, to formulate a joint response towards Taliban seeking power in Afghanistan. On Tuesday 10th August, US sent a peace envoy named 'Zalmay Khalilzad' to Qatar. This was a warning response towards Taliban's increasing capture of Afghan cities. The peace envoy stayed in Doha. Where he met several other representatives from a list of countries including US, UK, EU, UN, China, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
