Devastating melt of Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets found

New research has revealed that the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets are melting at an alarming rate. Furthermore, scientists are describing the rate of melting as 'devastating' due to its severity. Accordingly, the study, published in the journal Nature, found that the ice sheets have lost a combined 6.4 trillion tons of ice since 1992, contributing to a global sea level rise of more than half an inch. The researchers used satellite data to measure the ice loss and discovered. "Nevertheless, it has been accelerating rapidly in recent years." The Greenland ice sheet has been melting at an average rate of about 280 billion tons per year. The Antarctic ice sheet has lost an average of 145 billion tons annually. Professor Andrew Shepherd is the lead author of the study. They stated th...

Massive U-Turn by Messi after FIFA World Cup victory

The football world is shocked again by a massive U-Turn by Messi. Messi finally speaks about his retirement plans as he teases a FIFA World Cup U-turn following a trophy haul. Fans were urged to maintain their faith in Lionel Messi. Messi not only led his team to the championship game, but he also scored twice against France in Lusail Stadium to win the World Cup. This had eluded him throughout his illustrious career. Given that Messi had previously stated twice that the World Cup final would be his final appearance in the competition. One could not have asked for a better way to end a World Cup career. The captain of Argentina, however, appears to have made a U-turn suggestion. The 35-year-old had announced before the World Cup in Qatar that it would be his final participation in the ...

The World ‘s population just crosses 8 billion

World's population has crossed a huge number of 8 billion this year. The world has achieved another milestone in its existence. This time by crossing the human population number from 8 billion. According to some statistics, the world population was less than even 1 billion in the year 1804. However, the technology and estimations to keep track of the world population were also not sufficient at the time. Experts believe that the world's population increased by more than 2 billion markers in just 1 century. This was the time of revolution. A time when the industrial revolution demanded the world population to grow. However, only a century later, the world population has shot up by 2 to 3 times the estimations.  As the world has progressed in terms of science, technology, and most import...

Gaza trauma continues to be ignored by the world

Gaza besieged citizens have been subjected to yet another devastating, deadly Israeli attack, but the world ignores the trauma it continues to endure. A chilling operation called Truthful Dawn was carried out this week by the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip, which is besieged.  At least 44 Palestinians, including 15 children, were killed and hundreds were injured during the three-day bombardment. The coastal strip has suffered 15 years of crippling siege, but if that were not enough, it has been subjected to horrific "operations" year after year in which thousands of people have been killed, hundreds of thousands have been injured, and essential infrastructure has been totally destroyed for 15 years. Israeli airstrikes on Gaza According to Israeli officials, Israel'...

NASA releases Breathtaking Images Taken by JWST

NASA: National Aeronautics and Space Administration releases breathtaking images of the James Webb Space Telescope. The $10 Billion has shown the universe from a very different dimension. It has amazed all the people. If you've ever watched "It's a Wonderful Life," you've seen Stephan's Quintet. Last night, the James Webb Space Telescope provided the deepest, cleanest infrared images ever captured of the distant universe. It was a breathtaking exhibition of the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723. NASA has revealed spectacular pictures of our Universe from JWST. According to NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, photographs like this one, named "Webb's First Deep Field," let us observe the cosmos as it appeared 4.6 billion years ago. The light collected from these galaxies has been moving through...
