Pakistan Passport Ranks 4th Worst in the World

According to Henley Passport Index, Pakistan ranks 4th worst passport globally. Pakistan stands at 100th position in the 227 countries.

According to Henly & Partners, Pakistan Passport rank among the 5th worst passports in the current year.

According to Henley & Partners, The Passport Index has monitored the world’s most travel-friendly passports since 2006. However, the ranking executes after analyzing and sorting different travel documents from all the countries. Pakistan has ranked as a nation with the 4th worst passport in the world.

Pakistan ranks 100th out of 227 countries rating. Additionally, Pakistan citizens had access to only 33 visa-free countries before it was at 35 ranks.

Simultaneously, Singapore ranks at the top with 193 visa-free destinations, followed by Germany, Italy, and Spain. India ranks at 80th position with 57 countries that give on-arrival visa facilities to Indians.

In addition, Japan was at the top rank in 2022. hence it moved down to 3rd rank this year. It also shares the rank of Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden. These countries’ passports provide citizens with visa-free access to 189 destinations.

Furthermore, the bottom-ranked nations in travel destination countries are Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria, at least travel rank, with access to just 27, 29, and 30 destinations.

According to the Henly Passport index, Britain ranks in the 4th position in travel destinations. However, the US ranks in the 8th position. And it has access to 183 visa-free destinations.

Meanwhile, Asia has dominated the rankings in the passport index. Europe is in 2nd position in travel destinations. It provides visa-free access to 190 destinations.

According to Henley & Partners, the general trend towards travel destinations. The people enjoy more opportunities to explore the world without visa constraints. However, this index underscores the ongoing challenges in nations from certain countries in accessing international destinations freely.
