Saudia Arab’s historic win in Fifa WC

At the FIFA World Cup match on Tuesday in Qatar, Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina 2-1 in a historic victory. The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammad Bin Salman, received congratulations for his country’s historic World Cup victory. Following Saudia Arab’s men’s football team’s 2-1 historic win over Lionel Messi and Argentina, several world leaders praised the country’s team. This also included the Crown Prince of Dubai. In the thrilling match on Tuesday, KSA’s Salem Al-Dawsari struck a stunning winner to defeat the recent favorites. Remember that Saudia Arab’s historic win has ended the South American team’s 36-match unbeaten streak.

The athletic Saudis, who were playing a high, risky defensive line, rode their good fortune in the first half. This is because Argentina scored three goals out of which the referee only allowed 1. The referee disallowed the other 2 goals because of an offside. Lionel Messi only scored 1 goal with a penalty. Saudi Arabia, however, swarmed all over Lionel Messi’s team in the first few minutes of the second half. Saudi Arabia scored twice to defeat the South American for the first time in five tries.

It seemed only a matter of time before Saudi Arabia’s risky defensive strategies would cost them in an Argentina-heavy first half. As a result, Argentina’s back four were able to happily pass the ball among themselves. The video assistant referee (VAR) intervened to award a penalty in the first half. The referees penalized Saudi because Saud Abdulhamid wrestled Leandro Paredes to the ground in the box at a corner. After waiting for goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais to dive to his left, Messi calmly rolled the ball into the opposing corner. 3 times, Argentina nearly put the ball in the back of the net but acute offside decisions stopped the goals from happening.

However, The equalizer came three minutes into the second half. The sizable Saudi contingent present at the Lusail stadium erupted in celebration.
A few minutes later Saudi Strikers scored a leading goal. Al-Dawsari’s left turn in the box allowed him to evade two defenders firing an unstoppable shot into the top right corner. The Argentinian strikers tried many attempts to score a goal. However, each time the goalkeeper would stop their shots. The crowd erupted in jubilant cheers after each Al-Owais stop.

An unpleasant incident that happened at the end of the goal left a key player severely injured. Al-Owais collided with Yasser Al-Shahrani and appeared to knock him out when his knee struck the defender’s head.
