Balochistan Declares Health Emergency To Prevent Congo Virus

The Balochistan government has declared a health emergency in the province to prevent the spread of the Congo virus. It is also known as Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF). The virus is transmitted to humans through ticks found on livestock. It can cause severe symptoms, including high fever, muscle pain, vomiting, and internal bleeding. In a bid to halt the spread of the dangerous Congo virus, the Balochistan government has taken swift action by declaring a health emergency across the province. This move comes after the virus claimed the lives of 16 people. Including a dedicated doctor, with the total number of cases now standing at 44.
