Growing Fight in Gaza And Egypt Worries Nearby Areas

Israeli airstrikes have hit the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt thrice in 24 hours, in response to the rocket fire from Gaza. The Palestinian Health Ministry says at least 10 people have been killed and 50 wounded in the Israeli strikes.

In the Gaza Strip, there’s a serious conflict between Israel and Hamas. Israeli airstrikes targeted a border crossing between Gaza and Egypt three times in a day, responding to rocket attacks from Gaza. Due to the continuing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Over 1,200 Israelis have lost their lives and more than 2,700 have been wounded. In Gaza, approximately 950 individuals have been killed and 5,000 have sustained injuries.

Despite the conflict, both sides are in discussions with Egypt to find a way to stop the fighting, known as a ceasefire. However, they haven’t reached an agreement yet.

According to Egyptian security sources, there are discussions between Egypt and the U.S. about offering assistance to Palestinians via the border between Egypt and Gaza. They mentioned that efforts to establish a secure route for Palestinians seeking refuge from the enclave have been turned down.
