Muslims Clash with Christians in a Jaranwala Sad Incident

A Group of Muslims attacked churches in Jaranwala over the doubt of Quran blasphemy. Police and authorities condemn this veracious act and arrested the culprits to comfort Christian community.

On Wednesday, a group of Muslims crowds planned to attack Christians in the Faisalabad district of Pakistan due to the desecration of the Quran. They destroy their homes, burn churches and do several other damages.

In Jarawala Faisalabad district, an incident happened when several Muslims attacked Christians because they showed anger toward them. Muslims Mobs claimed that they saw a Christian man Raja Amir and his friends living in their area tearing a part of the Quran pages. They were throwing Quran on the floor and re-write on it. Raja and his friends give offensive comments on social sites about Quran.

Meanwhile, due to violence against the protest against the Quran, the district government sent an order for additional police forces. He also sent an order for the army to control the current situation.

Tehreek-e-Labbiak gathered people from mosques and other places and accumulated them at the alleged incident. And influence them to take revenge against the protest of the Quran from the Christians.

Further, the mob caused extensive damage to the area, including Christian homes and several churches. So, the district Police force had to take action against the protesters. The Police force fire in the air and stick waves to dissolve the violence. The government announced raids to find all the perpetrators. Therefore, Police arrested dozens of people for violence.

However, Police Chief said they are finding the Amir. He added, they will arrest him and will ask him why he had done Quran decertation.

In the incident explained by the church people, a Muslim man climbs to the roof of the church and tries to remove the sign of a steel cross. He uses a hammer to hit it and repeatedly hits it to remove the sign. The priest of the church Khalid Mukhtar claimed they felt unsafe and took the people to a safer place.

Some people posted videos and photos on social media showing their anger against the accusations of Quran desecration. Videos and photos showed people damaging the church by throwing bricks and burring it. In another video show, two more churches attacked. People smashed the windows, threw the furniture and set fire. Police officers were also in the video observing the situation without intervening in the violence.
