Government Disburses Funds to Banks for Domestic Hajj Pilgrims.

Government clarifies refund policy of Rs 12 billion return to the pilgrims who performed Hajj this year.

The government said banks will refund Hajj pilgrims next week. He additionally said the messages send to all Hujjaj about refunds. Hajj pilgrims will be reimbursed between Rs 97,000 and Rs 132,000. While the government has refunded Rs 55,000 for animal sacrifices.

The government of Religious Affairs informed the Parliamentary Committee of the refund of Rs 185,000 per pilgrim performing Hajj under the government program. In addition, the ministry asked Hujjaj from the private plan to submit their complaint.

The committee glorify the Hajj arrangement. The ministry further stated that each Hajj pilgrim has sent Rs 1,175,000 for Hajj under the current scheme. The govt refunded Rs 55,000 to each of the pilgrims before they left for Saudi Arabia.

It further informs the pilgrims, who performed the Hajj under the hard allowance, were asked for a deposit of Rs 1,120,000.

Refund Distribution

The government decided to issue refunds to specific groups of pilgrims. Non-residents of Markazia at Madina Al Munawwara will receive Rs 12,000 per person, and those who do not take the train to Mina will receive Rs 21,000 per person. In addition, all pilgrims refund Rs 97,000 each.

Furthermore, Committee members praised the efforts of the Minister for Religions and Interreligious Unity, Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood, to ensure the Hajj goes smoothly. Moavineen, appointed on merit, are renowned for their outstanding service, with measures in place to secure proper execution.

The Commission expressed hope these positive practices and efforts will continue to advantage pilgrims.

The government will refund this amount to pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government-sponsored Hajj program. Additionally told, more than 160,000 Pakistanis have performed Hajj this year. The government has decided to return Rs 12 billion to Hajj pilgrims who cannot benefit from prepaid facilities.
