The Global Village in Dubai has open doors to the international public on 25 October at 6 pm. This marks the opening of the 27th season of the Global Village in Dubai. This year the event has many new features on a massive scale. The massive scaling includes things such as 27 pavilions, over 3,500 shopping outlets, and more than 250 restaurants, cafes, and street food options. This time the event features 40,000 shows for guests’ entertainment. Guests will now experience a new lineup of performers, famous characters, concerts, and many more.
This time Global Village festival is offering its attendees all new ticket options and prices. The entry ticket price for the 27th season of this event is Dh18 only. Organizers have introduced a brand new Value ticket this time. This ticket will be valid from Sunday to Thursday. Organizers say that this ticket will encourage weekday visits. However, the “Value” ticket will not be applicable on public holidays. If you want to visit the event on a public holiday, you can purchase the Any day ticket. The “any-day” ticket will provide guests with unlimited access to enter the Global Village. That means the guests can enter the carnival on public holidays using this pass.
Moreover, the organizers are giving away a 10% discount for everyone who buys the ticket using the website or the mobile application. The Global Village Festival is mostly famous for its Rides, games, and attractions. Organizers claim that this season contains at least 175 rides, games, and attractions for the guests to entertain themselves. The all-new attraction that is making the center of attention is the new Global Village Big Balloon. This ride will allow the guests to have a 360-degree view of the event.
Mohamed Sharaf is the Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Holding Entertainment. He talked about the significance of the event. Sharaf said that this is one of the biggest events in Dubai. He is expecting a huge amount of people to visit the carnival this year. He said that the team has been working to design the whole event from Guest feedback about the past season.
