General Parvez Musharraf on verge of weakest moments of life

The former president and COAS of Pakistan are severely ill. Admitted to the hospital in Dubai, an Parvez Musharraf is battling with his life. The family asks for lots of prayers and blessings.

Another day another bad news on the global chart. Former president and COAS of Pakistan, General Parvez Musharraf is gravely ill. Yesterday the news of his death went viral all over social media. His family firmly disagreed with this absurd reporting. A retired army officer is currently in the hospital in Dubai. His family asks for lots of prayers and blessing from the people of Pakistan and world.

Team that handling Musharraf’s twitter posted yesterday about him after rumors’. They stated “He is not on the ventilator. Has been hospitalized for the last 3 weeks due to a complication of his ailment (Amyloidosis). Going through a difficult stage where recovery is not possible and organs are malfunctioning. Pray for ease in his daily living,”.

Amyloidosis can affect different organs in different people, and there are different types of amyloid. Amyloidosis frequently affects the heart, kidneys, liver, spleen, nervous system and digestive tract.

In a human body, plasma cells stored in bones perform the important function of making antibodies. However, a patient suffering from amyloidosis starts releasing protein from his plasma cells because of which antibodies called amyloid become dysfunctional and dangerous.

Theatrics of General Parvez Musharraf

General Parvez Musharraf, living in Dubai since March 2016, is facing treason charges for suspending the Constitution in 2007 over the imposition of extra-constitutional emergency, a punishable offence for which he indicted in 2014.

Former army chief left for Dubai for medical treatment. He has not returned since, citing security and health reasons. Musharraf, who ruled Pakistan from 1999 to 2008, been declared a fugitive in the Benazir Bhutto murder case and Red Mosque cleric killing case.
