Queen gets the most eccentric platinum Jubilee gift

Queen Elizabeth II gets her own barbie doll as a queen’s platinum jubilee gift. Toy Maker Mattel presented this gift to Queen on her 96th Birthday. It was commemorating the monarch’s 70 years on the throne.

In February 2022, Queen Elizabeth II became the first British Monarch to complete and serve 70 years on the throne. On Thursday, the 21st of April, Queen Elizabeth II turned 96. Mattel’s newest Barbie also honors the Royal’s Platinum Jubilee. Queen has the most iconic look which went viral in white dress. This is the special edition by the company to pay tribute to Queen and Monarch.

The gown of the Barbie was inspired by one of the most eccentric looks of Queen Elizabeth. The collectible and beautiful Barbie Doll wears the iconic white gown. Along with Blue riband with decorations of order and Tiara, the doll presented the exact reflection of the Queen. The stunning Tiara of the queen is based on Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara.

The doll features details drawn from the Monarch’s past. It wears a recreation of the tiara worn by the Queen on her wedding day, and pink and blue ribbons modeled after ones given to her by her father George VI, and grandfather George V.

On the other hand, it is decided that the doll will be sold in London stores Harrods, Selfridges, and Hamleys. However, they got permission for queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

Elizabeth ascended the throne on the death of her father King George VI on Feb. 6, 1952. She is the longest-ruling Monarch in the history of the British. In 1952, when she came to rule, women were not welcome by society to work outside of their homes. However, it was not easy for her to prove the narrow mentality of society wrong by facing them alone. But she has proven them wrong and the British Women of today is having equal rights as British Men.
