A recent terrorist suicide attack in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulted in 26 casualties. Motorcycle suicide bomber targets military convoy in Jani Khel area, no claims of responsibility yet. Ongoing security concerns in the region are alarming. On September 1st, 2023, a massive suicide attack happened in Jani Khel, North Waziristan, Pakistan. Someone drove a car full of explosives and crashed it into a checkpoint. Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan is a three-star general in Pakistan army. She is the very first and only female lieutenant general in the history of Pakistan.
