Kashmiri Leaders met Modi for the first time after two years since autonomy revoked in Kashmir
NEW DELHI, INDIA – Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi decided to host a meeting for the first time ever with the representatives of Jammu and Kashmir. The core motive of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing matters of the disputed region, Kashmir.
Modi along with the Himalayan region's 14 political leaders, including Modi's own party members attended the meeting. India's powerful home minister, Amit Shah, and New Delhi's administrator in the region, Manoj Sinha, also attended the meeting.
