Dead body of mountaineer Ali Sadpara finally found

Sajid Sadpara and his team of mountaineers found Ali Sadpara's body on June 8, more than two months after he went missing on K2. Sadpara, along with Iceland's John Snorri and Chile's Juan Pablo Mohr, had been attempting to summit the world's second-highest mountain when they lost contact with base camp on February 5. The bodies of Ali Sadpara and other collogues were found at an altitude of 8,400 meters (27,559 feet), on the slopes of the Bottleneck, a notoriously dangerous section of K2. The discovery of the bodies brings an end to a long and difficult search. Sadpara's family and friends never gave up hope of finding him alive, but they had also prepared for the worst.
