In Islamabad, US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar meets with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Arif Alvi. During her four-day visit to Pakistan from April 20-24, Congresswoman Ms Omar will meet with members of Pakistan's political and economic leadership, as well as visit Lahore and Azad Jammu and Kashmir to gain a deeper understanding of Pakistan's culture, social, political, and economic potential, the Prime Minister's Office said.
Eventually, the premier hopes, the ties between Pakistan's Parliament and the US Congress will deepen and strengthen.
