Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3. He announced on Instagram that the movie will release in theatres on June 27.
Diljit shared photos of himself in a leather jacket and jeans, standing beside a motorcycle. With his usual swagger, he looked ready to hit the big screen again. In the caption, he wrote, “Sardaar Ji 3 releasing 27th June. Finally, shoot finish ho geya. Sari team ne baut mehnat kiti aa. Baba bhaag lavey. Milde an theaters ch! BOOOOOOO… Main tan dar gi!” He also thanked the team for their hard work and showed excitement for the release.
Diljit played the lead in the original Sardaar Ji, which released in 2015. The film became a hit and brought something new to Punjabi cinema — a mix of fantasy, horror, and comedy. Director Rohit Jugraj guided a cast that included Diljit, Neeru Bajwa, and Mandy Takhar. The film followed Jaggi, a ghostbuster who traveled to London, only to fall in love with the ghost he came to catch.
In 2016, Sardaar Ji 2 followed with even more comedy and action. Diljit played three different characters in the sequel. The story showed a farmer who went abroad to earn money and faced unexpected challenges along the way.
Now, Sardaar Ji 3 also promises to continue the fun with new twists and more laughter. Fans have waited for this moment, and the wait is almost over.
