Lahore police have recovered CCTV footage of the murder of Javed Butt, brother-in-law of Teefi Butt, uncovering crucial evidence that shows four suspects involved in the targeted killing. The footage reveals the gang used both a rickshaw and a motorbike to carry out the attack.
The incident occurred near the Forman Christian (FC) underpass when the speed of Javed Butt’s vehicle slowed down. Two men on a motorbike approached the car, with one of them, who was wearing a helmet, opening fire. The other motorcyclist did not wear a helmet, making it easier for the authorities to differentiate the two. Meanwhile, a suspicious rickshaw was spotted on the main road near Butt’s residence in Huma Block, Iqbal Town, moments before the murder.
